We would like to welcome all the new members to our club, including the new Board of Directors (BOD) members who are volunteering their time. It is quite an undertaking to help out, but it benefits the club, which is the rewarding part of volunteering. Thanks to all the board members new and old who have volunteered and helped make this club what it is today! Keep up the good work.

Have a great summer and we will see you September 2, 2009 for our first regular scheduled meeting. Our September speaker will be our "one and only" George Vosmik with "FISHING FOR GIANT NORTHERN PIKE" , the largest of the fresh water predators.　 It will wet your appetite and help prepare you for that next trip north to capture the "Mythical Wolves" of the water and help you tie some effective Pike Flies.

A reminder, please send me your fishing adventures, with photos, to share with our club members. Do not worry about the editing, as we will do that for you prior to posting in our "Taut Line" newsletter. We’ll do the work while you do the adventuring!
